I feel pumped, I shipped a bunch useless shit home, pants, short sleeved shirt, pepper spray, snake bite kit, all the bullshit is gone.
I dumped half my food / snacks into hiker bin.
Since I know mother natures plans for the next few weeks and I have smokey to do. I upgraded my whole clothes game. Bought addl long sleeve shirt, camp long John shirt, gators to keep socks dry, extra hiking hat , extra pair of socks, liners, underwear, gloves.
Next door are two AT purists, they both have Gregory beltoro packs, like mine. They taught me shi about my pack that I could only dream of. Straps, pockets, adjustments, my pack can convert to a day and fanny packs, no wonder this thing is so expensive.
I ordered two items to be shipped to NOC, new shoulder pads and amfm, weather radio can't wait to get my hands on 'em.
Had a monster breakfast, Italian for dinner and enjoyed the hospitable Franklin.
On to tackling hills in the morning, going out at 9am...
