33 base weight, no food or water
44 with 2 liters, and 7 days of food
Finally got out of town, it was sad and as always uphill. There are some really beautiful views coming out of hot springs, you can see the river and town all the way up. Moving sluggishly out of town, I ended up camping by a firetower only 8 miles from town.
Not 5 miles out, my left food started really hurting, and the new polysorbs started pressing a ligament wrong. Unfortunatelly I left the superfeet in a hiker box in hot springs. I took out the insole on left foot and went with the factory one only.
Rich Mountain Fire Tower Side Trail. I set up camp, then we went up to the fire tower to hang out and drink wine w/ Slow Ride, White Chocolate, Picnic Basket and Yukon
