A month or so ago, my boss Jonathan, recommended adventure racing as something i should look into. Since then I have been doing the research, by seeking out people, groups, web resources to learn more and more about this sport. The more information that I have learned, the more and more I became convinced, that this is something I will do.
Fortunately and unfortunately, this sport requires a team and sponsorship. Which means other individuals ready and willing to commit to face the challenge with me and more importantly to make sacrifices to train for this event. Over the last few weeks, I have been chatting up friends, attending Meetup groups to seek partners and sponsors. As the interest grew, I knew I had to schedule a race and get moving.
