(Yo)semite son!!

It all started with an email to Jeff in February. "Im booking a spot in Yosemite for June, you in?". The cali trip was born. It consisted of a few parts, coming into Solona beach to party w/ Jeff and Mike, rent a Mustang. Bounce out to LA, where my cousin was going to fly in and drive the PCH w/ me, with two stops in Big Sur. Cap that off with a stop in Jeffs old stomping ground, Santa Cruz and party w/ some of his friends. Day in Napa boozing. Then Pete flew in for the last two legs of the trip, Yosemite and San Fran! For everyone that knows me, Cali is my favorite place in the world.

I dont remember much of Solona beach, I think shit got hairy after a few jager bombs, I do remember setting a record of some sort, which stayed a few weeks after I left.

Dmitriy and I left LA early in the morning. Driving the PCH is all that and more, the views and Big Sur are f--ing amazing! We stayed two nights in Big Sur, and could have stayed more, it is the most beuatiful spot in the world. We literally pulled over every few minutes and took pictures and took in the scenery. Santa Cruz was a blur, we chilled w/ Aaron and the boys and had a great time.

Next day we ventured out to Napa and drank wine all day, it was my second time there. It is the quintessential California. Blue skys, 70 degree weather and you are getting fucked up all day. All I remember is Dmitriy making a scene that we went to Robert Mondavi winery, he said "IM not drinking any fucking Merlot"!

Dmitriy bounced and Pete came in, exchanged one for the other at SF airport, and bounced out to Yosemite. Pictures improved as Pete brought the big daddy camera. Yosemite is what they say and more, it is def one of the most beautiful places in the world. The valley when viewed from the top is amazing. I visited the official beginning of the John Muir trail, this is a journey that I must someday take.I saw my spirit animal at the top of the world there, a lone wolf. Little did I know I had a lesson waiting for me back home. Tess broke up with me, after picking me up at the airport. It was the biggest heartbreak I have ever felt, there was a life changing lesson there, that I remember every day.

Pete and I had a blast in SF, and had a lot of great conversation. I loved every minute of my trip, love the people I was able to do it with and the lessons that it brought.

What is the meaning of seeing a wolf?

Answer:
Not all naturally occurring phenomenon can or should be interpreted as signs or omens. That said, Wolf can be interpreted as being the "Teacher". If you are a mature person, seeing one may signify that it is time for you to seek out a student or protégé, someone you can pass on your unique wisdom to. If you are still on your own path of learning this is a time to buckle down and really learn the lessons life has to teach you. Not all learning comes from the hallowed hall of higher education, the humblest of things and people have their lessons to teach you as well, if you are willing to look at them with an open mind, listen to them with an open heart.
