My lease at the Manhattan is up Dec 14th. So, I decided to move to the cabin for part of December and January. I started dating a beautiful girl, who will come and visit and make the place more cheery. My overall experience of the move was mixed. No doubt a little cabin fever sets in. The negative thing is it gets dark at 5p, so there is no time to roam the outdoors. Its a cute routine though, go to Ingles, do a little cooking, start a fire, its like camping, but in a nice cabin. Laura comes for the weekends and makes the whole thing more enjoyable. In the future, I really want to do this during the summer / fall months. I did discover a nice section of the trail, not 2 miles from the house. Its a section of the BMT, so I am now able to bust out at lunch and do a hike. I need a dog for this shit.
