Tuesday 5-25

On my birthday I went to raft the river with Connecticut, we wer given a beer barge where we could float a bunch of beer behind us. It was supposed to be a 5 hour trip. 4 hours in to the trip we reached the half way point. Connecticut lost his shirt in the first 30 min of the trip. When the sun went down, about 8 hours into the trip, we finally got out and walked to a volunteer fire dept, to call uncle Johnny to pick us up. While the trip was a total disaster, we had a blast, it was long, scenic, sunny and we emptied the beer barge. We got back around 10 at night. Connecticut was so sun burned that it took him out of commission for a couple of days. I wanted to treat myself to a night at the holiday inn, for my bday, but went right to bed when we returned.
