Thursday 6-3

In the morning i met Bob Peoples, the reason he is legendary is bc he has given a lot of time and love to the trail and the hikers. He runs a volunteer crew that build shelters, maintain the trails, etc. And he turned a part of his house into a hiker hostel where he takes donations in return for a bunk. He built a cool tree house with a porch, where you can also stay.

Leaving Kincora you pass Laurel creek waterfall, the largest on the AT and walk along laurel creek for a few miles. Even though I wanted to cover 10 miles for the day, I could not help to camp on the side o the river and get a nice fire going.
